Being active is beneficial to young adults’ physical and emotional development. However, physical activities are not always available for students. Physical education classes are gradually being phased out of the high school environment, resulting in lower standards of physical conditioning. This leaves students with the option of pay-to-play activities such as cheerleading, band, or other interscholastic athletics. Unfortunately, there are many who wish to participate that encounter a financial barrier.

As a part of our community service and outreach, The Heights Racquetball & Fitness Club is now offering a completely free, racquetball instruction, play, and competition program for juniors between the ages of 14 and 18, Monday through Friday, 3:30pm-5:00pm.
